I grew up during the Broad Street Bullies days in Philadelphia. Tonight, Dave “The Hammer” Schultz was inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame. Many people don’t think of the Hammer as a HOF player, but anyone who watched him play knows that his team first attitude was what made the Flyers what they were. It’s a lesson not only in sports, but in sacrifice in making whatever you do the best it can be.
