I am the Senior Systems Engineer supporting the Infrastructure and Systems Administration Department of the Information Technology Department at a public K12 school system.
I have moved from the actual first line of technology support at schools over 18 years ago, creator/technology adviser for our nationally recognized TechActive Classrooms of Tomorrow, to my current position as Senior Systems Engineer. I also administer Office365, it’s Spam and Advanced Threat Protection, while collaborating as one of the two Exchange administrators for our Hybrid Exchange. One of my first projects as a Systems Administrator was deploying our F5 Big-IP LTM, APM & ASM.
I am using PowerShell to manage our systems and have started to share that learning process with you here on the blog. I have recently started moving further into Cloud computing with Azure, becoming Azure and Microsoft 365 Certified.
